    Ammo budget re-allocation

    WHEREAS
The appropriations committee had already approved the purchase of two black rifles and the requisite ammo stockpile.

    WHEREAS
Black rifles acquired. (Jail-break day is today!!!)

    WHEREAS
No ammo to be had in .223/5.56 anywhere.

    WHEREAS
The money has already been budgeted for firearms...

    THEREFORE
"MOAR AMMO!!!" is my usual response...

    HOWEVER
Times are bad. I think I really need to do something for my fellow shooters as well as myself.

    THEREFORE
The question becomes: "What to do?"

What organization has done the most for US?
Which has helped California shooters the most?
What organization uses their donations to further our cause through action other than using donations to get more donations?

It seems the politicians fear the NRA the most.
SAF seems to use the approach I find most effective - the courts.
    CalGuns - I really don't know a lot about.
Firearms Policy Org - Might be a good idea. Great grassroots efforts on SB249.

    HENCEFORTH
Some pro-2A organization(s) is/are getting my ammo budget. How should I divvy it up?

This year they are all getting a good spread...

It's not like it is going to do any good buying arms or ammo.

Hmm, no votes for SAF... Weren't they were a big part of the Heller & McDonald victories? I must admit, I have a certain disdain for bow-ties... I am a bow-tie bigot, I guess.

Well, I spread my "free speech" around: CGF, NRA, GOA.
I still have some left... I'd like it to go to an organization focused on California. We need all the help we can get. Suggestions and links are appreciated.

Firearms Policy Coalition. It's a conglomerate of SAF,CGF, CALFFL and CCRKBA

                  CGF

NRA already has plenty of money from gun manufacturers.
Making guns illegal is as stupid as making drugs or prostitution illegal.
