I bought my n6 lower for $625 back in 08. I still regret that one and I'm sure you will too by the end of next year. My only saving grace was I waited a few years to finish the build and just bought the lower during the panic buying. I found deals on the rest of the rifle to make up for my one and only panic purchase. It was a only a $300 mistake but it was worth it in the end

i bought two n6 lowers in 08 for 425 or 450 a piece. my pops and i both had been wanting to build them. we just finished the builds 6 months ago lol. still need to get some glass for them though

Are you thinking that $600 is too much for a AR 10 matched billet upper & lower, in late Dec 2012? What are my other choices?

Sorry I misread your post, I thought you were just buying the lower. That seems like a decent price even without the panic buying imo.
