Firearm permit question. BSIS

Hi I have my permit for Exposed Firearm. The state require 4 requalification within 2 years. I did my first two requalification at one place. My question is do I have to go to the same place for all four of my requalifications? I found a cheaper place to do my requalifications.

You don't have to use the same instructor. Do you have the paperwork the instructor signs off on for your re-qualifications?

You don't have to go to the same instructor.

Going to the same instructor just makes things convenient because the re-qualifications are date sensitive.

I don't remember the exact word but it is something like "not earlier than x months before the first re-qualification and no later that x months after the first re-qualification".

Use the same instructor and your records are a few file folders away. Use a different instructor and they may ask to have documents faxed to them etc. which may hold things up.

No less then 4 months no later then 6 months. Wherever whoever.

All you need to do is make sure you have the instructor's signature at the bottom of your form(s). If you use 4 different instructors in a two year period for your requals, then you will have 4 separate forms with 4 instructor signatures. If you do all of your requals with the same instructor, then it is all contained on one form.
