    DansAmmo.us somthing up with them?

On 12/21 I placed an order with them using their online store for product that was at the time shown as in stock. My card has been charged. I have received an email purchase confirmation. Contained within said purchase confirmation email was an estimated delivery date of 12/23 and a note that I would receive a shipping confirmation when the order shipped.

Note: Their website Terms & Conditions say that they ship same-day upon completion of CC transaction.

It is now 12/27. I have not received a shipping confirmation. I have not received the product I ordered. My card has been charged. I have emailed twice and called and left three messages without reply.

Is "DansAmmo.us" (a Santa Barbara, CA company) a CG member/user?

Does anyone know anyone at DansAmmo?

Does anyone have any idea what is going on with them?

Tried to do business with a CA company and I am thus far, very disappointed in the experience.

Every ammo vendor is backlogged due to order volume regardless of their regular policies.

Also, an estimated delivery date of 12/23? You realize that's a Sunday, right? If you ordered on 12/21, there has been 2 possibly 3 business days since(24th/26th/27th). Surely you understand that a weekend and holiday has passed in the time since you ordered, right?

Neither the weekend nor the holiday prevented them from processing the transaction against my CC and if they had time to do that, they had time to let me know via email or phone that my order might be delayed due to exceptional volume.

Not sure what business you are in but I know that my clients would not accept 6 days of radio silence after placing an order and being charged.

Maybe because like many online order processing systems, that was automated?

Also, you just complained about "6 days of radio silence" again, there have only been 3 business days at the most since you ordered, not 6. Your expectation of delivery on 12/23(who gets deliveries on a Sunday without paying an arm and a leg for it? Pizza doesn't count) is odd, and makes the rest of your complaint seem completely unreasonable if you can't understand the difference between a business day and a holiday/weekend.

That's not even counting the backlog of orders that every other online ammo vendor has that's got things delayed a week or more.

No one was in the warehouse packing up your order on Saturday, Sunday, Christmas Day, and probably not even Christmas Eve. Get over it.

Also, a lot of companies may have shut down for the week. I made two internet orders last weekend (one from Brownells), and were charged for both. The only response I got was one vendor said the shipment would go out 1/2 after the office re-opened. I haven't heard from Brownells yet.

OP is clueless. Get ahold of yourself, tired of seeing you guys ripping on every dealer and retailer because you ordered something from the toilet RIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS and can't figure out why you haven't received it yet.

Have you not read the headlines? Have you no clue that guns and ammo are all but sold out everywhere and backordered?

If you don't see your order in 10 business days, then it's time to call the vendor. Christmas plus the panic is making order processing a major chore, don't let yourself panic until you have something to really worry about.

                  Cancel the order.
There will be 10,000 others who will happily buy and wait.

I just received an order of ammo that I placed about 2 weeks ago, just relax and enjoy the excitement of waiting.

I ordered ammo from them in the past and received it within 3 days. But right now they are probably going hammered with all the orders so I'm sure it would take a while. Just hang in there. They are legit.

I ordered from him about 2 month's ago. I was shocked to see the delivery the next day.
Have you called him? That's what I would do to check on order status.

Because I bought an M14 1.5 weeks ago and didn't need it till now.

Late this afternoon I received communication from the vendor.

They agreed with me that the delays in communication were inappropriate, that they should have posted some kind of notice to their website regarding their holiday schedule and their overall workload due to panic buys and that they should hold off on CC processing until they can process shipment....per their stated terms and conditions.

Yes, as stated in the OP I called a number of times and emailed as well.

Engaged with them today via email. All is well now.
