So I'm looking for a decent pair of range-gloves and am wondering what you all use? I'm looking for something useful for both rifle and handgun handling/shooting/reloading. I'm not military or LEO so I don't need something that stands up to the rigors of combat nescessarily, just looking for something sorta tacti-cool I guess.

ITT: post your range gloves!

You mentioned tactical, but you asked for range - two different things if you ask me. I use Cannondale fingerless cycling gloves for range practice, they absorb the recoil of repeated shooting in all the right ways (range stress on the hands is remarkably similar to cyclists) with the padding in all the right spots.
sorta look like this (mine are years old, plain black boring looking):

ok, i'm looking for "tacti-cool" range gloves at a decent price. I'm not opposed to mall-ninja, but I'm not gonna dump $75.00 on 511's when in reality I'm only going to wear them at the range.Originally posted by Edward AbbeyA patriot must always be ready to defend his country against his government.Originally posted by W.H. I vote for bare hands.Comment

They're real handy (with palm padding) when you're sitting there throwing 150+ hot rounds at a target, they take a lot of the bite out of a magnum recoil. The OP specifically mentioned the range, so... *shrug*Comment

Thank god, I might have to fire ya if I see thatBaseball batting gloves are good too.
I have some Rawlings...but I don't use them anymore.
I outgrew my mall ninja days.
I have some old wool 3/4 fingers I wear when it's cold and I'm outdoor, but it's only so my damn hand don't freeze.NRA - Life Member

I was always told to use the disposable latex gloves..keeps the fingerprints off the pistola in case I have to drop it and try to look innocent as a newborn babe in the woods.
I also carry a spray bottle of bleach...
I love watching CSI... kidding.
HAHAHAHHAHAH
I just shoot bare handed at the range. No Gloves at all.Comment

Oh god no!
BTW, I use some of these
warm for those cold days and you maneuver pretty good with them.
I will vote for a donkey-sex maniac if he's pro-gun.

I have some Heat Grip CT gloves by SWM. They have a really good fit and I lose very little dexterity with them.
