NRA membership question

I am going to get my first membership.

I know its a little trivial but which of the the 3 magazine choices do you guys recommend?

It appears that there are several

As soon as you get your membership card be sure to call the phone number on the back and tell them to add you to the "DO NOT PROMOTE" list. That way you can avoid all of the spam they mail out.

Yes, they will send tons of spam mail weekly, but stop right away if you ask them to.

Both my wife and I are members so we get both American Rifleman and First Freedom. I prefer American Rifleman. There is a lot of common material between the two.

woah the membership is actually only $25! thats like paying nothing then!!

Once you sign up for the one year plan with the $25 gift card, see if you can upgrade to an EPL membership. They usually pro rate what you already paid. It might take a long time to get to full life membership but it's worth it in the end. That's how I got mine.

My wife is a Life Member and I'm an Endowment Member, she receives the American Hunter and I the American Rifleman magazine. Life is good, best of both worlds, and we never have to send in a renewal. Still send a check to the NRA-ILA every so often, I consider that check like a gift to the Second Amendment Salvation Army.

I would get the option for the gift card and American Rifleman. It is a good read.
