Could someone who truly believes

Could someone who truly believes in the 10 rd magazine restriction please explain it to me?

The purpose of the round limitation is what? To slow down a magazine reload? Make the person who is doing the killing, have to stop more often? Make the person who is doing the killing carry more magazines?

Say this person who killed the people at Sandy Hook used 10 round magazines and only killed 20 people instead of the 26, because he was hindered by reloading often. You happy now? The 20 who were killed is acceptable? Because six less were killed, mission accomplished?

I live my life where preventing any taking of life is the goal.

I don't agree with cap limits, but here's a theory...

10 is a number gun grabbers think the majority (including many gun owners) will agree is reasonable and acceptable for a ban on capacity. The number could be 5, 6, 7 etc. It has nothing to do with reload speed or how dangerous it is.

Picture a screaming gun grabber saying "Who needs more than 10 rounds before a reload? It's plenty for hunting and sporting"... while the hand wringing audience of idiots nod their heads in agreement.

OP, I`m a responsible American Gun owner. I know what my Intentions are & trust my self. I would Trust the "average" Responsible American Gun owner, far more than ANY Tree Hugger, Whale Protector, Animal Cop, or ANYONE that belives in Calif. Politics. The People that support Restrictions, are the same People in DENIAL when it comes to Protecting Lives/ Property. Next time you engage an "Anti" gently ask them how they expect to survive in a "SHTF" Scenario, or National Disaster etc...They always say the same thing & once again, It`s DENIAL. "Our" Gov`t. is not concerned about our wellbeing.

When they look down and gaze at their naval they see ten fingers and that is where the number comes from.

But seriously it means nothing to someone experienced with their firearm, if the victims are untrained and incapable of fighting back. The terror of the situation would probably dissuade most from taking action even during the several seconds it would take to reinsert a two or three round magazine.
