    midway range bags now "lockable"

So as many of us already know, the midway range bags are not easily lockable. Well, I had a good idea to make a minor and easy modification to the inner pistol pouches and the results you can see below. It was easy to do and works great. Lockable. CA compliant for transporting pistols. Simple little tool and eyelets the wife picked up from Michaels or maybe Hobby Lobby.
I'll take extra eyelets and the little tool to the range next time and most likely do several of my buddies bags for them.

        Nylon zipper and nylon cloth.

        Lockable?

        I think not.

OP didn't say "securely locked." he said Lockable. By california law, it doesn't state that it has to be in a cut-proof container, or that there must be metal.

For all intents and purposes, it's locked. Someone posted a bag that was locked zipper to keyring loop, and i think even that was acceptable, albeit ineffective. Wouldn't take much more than a little solder to make it unquestionable though.

            Thanks SgtMerc, exactly right.
By CA law, this is a locked container.

That's not lockable. Even if you don't cut the cord, you can still unzip it.

It is lockable. You could also cut the pull or cut the fabric or simply rip the zipper open all of which would circumvent the locking feature. The same with any other locking bag or box etc. If you circumvent the lock its all null and void. You are breaking into it.
The intent behind the locking feature of the law is to make it hard to access your firearm for the user not to keep it inpenetrable to thieves.
