Actually, the best medicine is to have a good laugh. This guy will commit stupidity again and be clueless, you on the other hand can now say you were entertained for a moment in his presence and yet he couldn't see how hard you were laughing at him on the inside.

I saw an aero stripped lower in the FS area for $250 today. i damn near laughed my self unconscious. So no $280 is a fair price for a complete lower, tell that guy to pound sand.Comment

I had this happen once with an iPhone I sold (not from here) back when the 4's came out. Must have talked to the guy 5 times on the phone, sent multiple high detail pics, described condition perfectly. I meet him like 15 miles away at the halfway point one night...
He literally pulls out a magnifying glass, inspects it for about 5 minutes, and pulls the "well I thought it would be in better condition (it was as perfect as a two year old phone that spend its life in an otter box is ever gonna get)... I'll give you half of my original offer". I told him he was out of his mind. Then he got offended and started (I assume) cursing me in Chinese. Keep in mind he was probably 5'2" 120 and I am 6'3" 280.
Ah Craigslist. You can never bring enough gun to a Craigslist transaction.
Anyway, on topic if a Calgunner ever pulled the lowball after the price is set I would be happy to grab my stuff and get right back in the car.Comment
