    Shooting Ranges

Hey all, what are some Shooting Ranges close by where I can shoot my Mosin M44 7.62 x 54R ? I am in Corona, California (Southern California). I do not want to drive out to Burro Canyon because that is a little to far. And I know that Magnum Indoor range does not allow large caliber rifle.

Prado Olympic Shooting Park does not allow Centerfire rifle. Any suggestions?

    thanks

A lot of this depends on what ammo you are shooting. So Cal ranges tend to be pretty tough on steel core or other magnetic ammo. All the cheap surplus 7.62x54r is magnetic, and all the non-magnetic stuff tends to be commercial stuff costing $0.8/round.

          Just a quick Q...
Do they do the magnet test on all your ammo at Lytle Creek?

If so, I need to leave the .303Brit at home

            They never checked mine

at Lytle Creek and they sell (sold) 8x57 for 12 per bando and I think it was magnetic.

Raahauges is a tad bit expensive, but next time I make it out there I'll ask what the limit is. Anyways good luck and don't work too hard.
