Monday I got a call from a friend who had finally saved up enough money for his first AR. He is a hard working Navy vet with a new baby on the way so putting together 1200 dollars is a big deal for him. He wanted me to shop around for him this week since he had to travel on business until Friday. I got in touch with Greg at Counter Strike Firearms in Hemet to see if he had anything in the 1200 out the door price range for a Navy vet (Greg has always been good with military discounts). He said he had two in stock that fit the bill so I sent him my friends contact info. My buddy decided on a Bushmaster ORC and said Greg gave him a great price. He even set it aside marked SOLD until my friend gets back in town Friday. He didn't have to discount the price on what has become America's most sought after gun, but he did. He didn't have to put it on hold with no money down for five days, but he did. I'm sure if he wanted to make a healthy profit he could have sold it over MSRP to one of the 100s of people who have called his shop this week looking for an AR.
Even better, he just called me to tell me the PMAGs I ordered had come in and to pick them up any time. No price increase. (He doesn't have any more, I asked)
I can't say enough good things about Greg and his shop.
