Why would a very well funded organization that is over 75 years old fail or are we just trolling?

Why? Most of us still love Ronald Reagan even though the Republican party is fold-o-matic lately.

Fold for us might not be the same as fail for them.

Ahh, another 'GOA/Slam the NRA' adherent I see.

There is no indication that the NRA would ever 'fold' but why not throw it out there so we can claim that "group 'X' will never fold and is more deserving of your money."
Never mind that group 'X' does nothing but tell us how bad the NRA is and ask for cash.

Yeah, some of us have seen this show more times then an I Love Lucy rerun.

If the NRA were to 'fold' we would all be screwed.

That being said, I think the chances of them folding are approximately equal to the chance that the entire NRA leadership will be run over by a bus.

We have good folks in the NRA, lets let them do their jobs. We have to do our part also of course.

A tad bit defensive are we? I made no statements of NRA vs whomever, or if the NRA will ever "go away". Once again:

IF the NRA folds, will there be a decrease in Heston avatars?

I don't think NRA is going anywhere...

BUT I believe they might have to make some serious concession on our gun right... AKA 1994 gun ban redux!

                          YES!!! Conviction!!!

This is what is needed. None of the NRA vs GOA vs etc crap that we usually see.

No matter what happens, the firearm community must stand together as one. If, and I say "if" hypothetically (so calm down NRA worshipers), the NRA should fold one one thing or another, we must realize that this is a time for unity.

Will the NRA "compromise" as I predict they will (behind the scenes). They will throw a hissy fit with speeches but they will make a backroom agreement. I can smell it.
