From their Facebook page:
I personally find them irrelevant as a reseller these days. They charge outrageous shipping when an item comes from multiple warehouses (of theirs), they won't sell a ton of things to California for no good reason (for example water filters) or stupid reasons (firearms parts... not firearms but parts) etc. I doubt I'm alone and I would think they have lost a lot of their customer base. there's nothing they sell that I can't get somewhere else ... and usually cheaper.
I wonder if they are hurting in general and this is just a play for attention? Or are they in fact still doing well?
Cheaper Than Dirt! is suspending online sales of firearms effective immediately. We are reviewing our policy internally, and will continue to be the leader in the outdoor industry with our full line of gear and accessories.
