I am very disappointed in Stag Arms. I am trying to build an AR for a brother firefighter who has brain cancer. He would like a left handed upper since he is cross-eye dominant. Stag makes them, but are on high back order due to popularity. If the circumstances were different I would have no problem getting on a backorder list. After dealing with Stag for over two weeks asking for help (and willing to pay, not looking for a handout here) they flat out said "NO we can't help you." Please share this. Hopefully, in the future, they will be more willing to support the customers who support them. If you know of anyone willing to part with a lefty upper please contact me.

I have a feeling Stag has more orders than they can reasonably handle and have no idea when they can fill them. I am a lefty and only use standard upper recievers, the brass deflector works quite well.

I would just order pretty much anything you can find for your buddy. It's going to be a rough ride for buyers in the AR market for a while.

Let me guess, I'll bet you told them you were a firefighter hoping to get the usual firefighter discount/preference at the expense of everyone else. In point of fact, as a result of them not giving in to your pathetic begging, they've just risen substantially in how I view them as a company.

I have a Stag and really like it a lot. That being said.....

Did you guys catch the fact that the original poster's friend has brain cancer. Regardless of his occupation his days above the grass may be limited. I think his friend is just trying to "make a wish" for his dying buddy. I don't know about you guys but I would be willing to wait an extra day, week, or even a month for my upper....If i knew it would make a positive impact on an other wise suffering human being.

Just my 2 cents.
