    2nd AR...which one?

I presently own a S&W MP15. I want a 2nd AR. Would you suggest I get another S&W MP15 so that parts are interchangeable? Does it matter, are all brands not interchangeable?

    LaRue Tactical 16" PredatAR

You'll never need another 5.56 again.

A better question might be: what is in stock?

After this weekend, chances are everything EBRish is going to get bought up and there won't be much, if anything, in inventory for a couple of months.

Anywho, ARs are pretty much mix-and-match. Mine are all franken-guns. Buy whatever you like.

I agree with elSquid and mercurycomet... I don't think you really have a choice of ARs anymore. Your only choice is whether or not to buy what's left in stock or not.

Your next AR is the one that you can find for sale

If you find a Bushy, it might become a collectors item. But maybe a Colt? If you can find anything at all near term.

My thoughts exactly. Although if things end up going our way, a LaRue would be nice

most ARs are swappable since most are Mil-spec. Ruger, HK and some low end are not.

Id buy an AK if you have a AR, or a HK or FAL....ACR, XCR... If you want to extend the life of the AR you have, buy a few LPKs, and a Barrel, that should equal a few decades or more depending how you shoot. Of course if you shoot 1,000 rounds a week, that's little over a year.

You could buy a new upper, as another poster said, 300 blackout, 7.62x39, 9mm, ....
