ignoring proper spelling and grammar the gun list is a kalifornia law and each state has its own laws but must also follow federal law...

so your confusion (among other things) is in the fact the gun list you are talking about is a safe handgun list. every gun manufacture must submit its handgun for testing before it can be allowed to be sold in ca. that has nothing to do with the federal laws requiring registration of certain firearms, as in full auto and short barreled firearms.

sum = a total of items, as in a total amount due after adding up all cost.
some = a select item or items, as in "these few people are some of the ones we needed."
