    Best gun cleaning kit?

    Looking for a big kit that has everything as opposed to my plastic box of everything strewn about. Plenty online to look at but a lot of them have comments such as "junk kit, brass rod broke".
    Wondering if you guys have any kits still available that you would recommend. Not really a fan of the Otis kits as I like a solid brass rod.
    Looking at this one;

    And I have no problem with coughing up more than a hundred dollars for a quality kit.

    I've never heard of or seen such a thing.

    With a "universal kit", you're paying for components you may not or ever need. A sectional brass rod is not going to replace a tipton/dewey/etc. A universal kit may not including appropriate chamber brushes.

    I suggest you simply go through your plastic box of stuff, toss out the things you don't need, and get some quality components.

      I'm a big fan of the M7Pro kit. It has brass parts, etc.

          Building your own is the best way to go.Make a list of what you need.I've got a pile of useless stuff from "kits".

          Quality one piece rods are the way to go.

            a $15 "junk" kit for your caliber will serve you fine if you're an occasional shooter

            If you want to commit to long term cleaning, I like Dewey rods for everything personally.

            I use a "junk" Al rod to push patches through for pistol & shotgun.
