    Can i sell reloaded ammo?

I was wondering if i wanted to make some money if i could legally reload ammo and sell it? Do i need to be a FFL dealer? Also any other advise would be great.

    There are HUGE liability issues.

To manufacture and sell ammo you need to talk to BATFE since there is about an 11% excise tax on ammunition. I looked into it at one point and while you do not need to neccesarily have an FFL, you do need to make sure the correct taxes are collected and are being paid to your uncle sam.

There are also the liability issues but truth be told, I don't know how many smaller ammo manufacturers actually have liability insurance. When I was looking to do it, Insurance was going to cost fully half of what I wanted to sell. it was not worth it so I scrapped the idea. This was almost 10 years ago when metal prices were a LOT lower.

You need to have a Type 06 FFL in order to make ammo you want to sell.

or barter for other calibers aka "a trade"

i personaly wouldn't want any body to use my reloads what if their gun fails due to no fault to my loads i would still get the blame

even if the package was marked like a software licence (upon opening this package user holds producer blameless, no warrantys expressed or implied, for paper weight usage only ,not to be fired in any firearm of any condition,...)

as for donations unless you are a non profit i think it may open you to an other investigation

If he is making a profit that contributes to his livelihood then Federal law requires him to have an FFL.

Thanks for the responses, figured the idea is a bit unrealistic to make money off of reloading ammo in my garage.
