no dsl, so I went shooting today

no DSL today, and I had the day off from work. I drove down to Milpitas (Normally I go to Davis St, but I wanted to shoot the 12 gauge today). Fired off 100 rounds of 0.40 in the 229 and a couple of boxes of 12 gauge bird shot in the Vang Comp 870.

There is something remarkably fun about shredding a b27 Body sihlouette in half. My sweatshirt still smells like the range.

No work today for me too . . . . my hands still smell like CLP . . . .

Yeh, after the shotgun, I have absolutely no fine motor coordination left at all.

I was only shooting #8 birdshot, so it was actually pretty fun and easy on the shoulders. Except the buttstock kept pushing my earmuffs off, luckily I doubled up with ear plugs. I remember one time I bought 4 boxes of slugs. I only went through one box, and I called it quits after that. That was pretty brutal on my shoulders.
