I hope it slows soon. All my local Wally Worlds that usually have .22lr are all out. It is getting really annoying.

              Bubbles always burst.

Wait until folks find out no one is coming to confiscate all those guns they bought--then you can get bargain prices.

People are not buying firearms just so they can hide them...

People are buying firearms since its clear to anyone with a brain the Media and Liberals are working toward a AWB again. All they need is another huge tragic shooting, where multiple people are killed.

It will not end until people chill out and stop buying stuff. Supply and demand. Vendors and manufacturers will keep prices high because people are willing to pay it all day long. It's a self-made crisis with no one to blame but ourselves.

You mean like the last 8 years since the last ban expired? There's always been a push for another AWB by the same usual suspects but the key is the support or I should say, the lack of support for it.

Which is probably correct, based on what I see.

The 2014 registration won't affect 80% builds. After the AWB and after dealing with enough FUD at shops I got sick of it and started doing 80% builds so I don't have to deal with it.

                            Panic

It will slow down a bit later this month and early January.

However, it will kick in to high gear as soon as the CA legislature introduces their 2013 anti-gun bills. They are certain to revive AB962 and modify it in a way they hope will gain passage with a veto proof majority.

My prediction is it will pass and we'll need to head to court seeking a PI in order to stop if from taking affect should Brown sign it or if they override a veto.

At the street level, all things AR will begin drying up here in CA, starting with stripped lowers. You should expect to also see legislation out of Sacramento that targets SSE and 80%'ers.

This will begin happening in Q1 of next year.

If Obama begins issuing regulatory changes through ATF and/or executive orders that are anti-gun, you'll see the panic reach epic proportions.

On this, my prediction is he will, beginning with ATF restricting the import of semi auto rifles. There is a whole lot he can do to hurt us that does not require legislation through congress. I have no doubt he will do exactly that aided by a compliant media.
