Milpitas Lowers: Did you forget something?

Today I picked up the Milpitas Lower I won at the celebratory dinner.

First, thanks to all the people involved. Gene, Ben, and no doubt others of whom I'm not even aware.

Now the point of this post: The FFL commented that he still has a large number of OLL's in his safe, and he would like for the owners to come and pick them up.

Seems a bit odd, after all the drama and anticipation, that folks haven't picked up their property. I understand that some people have moved away, which certainly complicates the situation.

However, if you're in the Bay area, and own a "Milpitas OLL", I'm sure the FFL would appreicate it if you dropped by and got the ball rolling on the DROS.

Also want to note. . . Ben have you done the drawing on the last Milpitas Lower yet?

A couple belong to one of my friends who moved and I haven't been able to get ahold of. Not sure if he knows that they have been released. Hopefully he already knows and picked them up. I did leave a voice mail for him.

It would really help if folks would reach out to those who own these and inform them to come and pick them up.

Has the FFL tried to call any of them?

The only way I learned of this (because I hadn't been on the forums) was a good buddy telling me we'd won the case. How many of those OLL guys don't read the forums?

I'd guess Mr. B could get rid of more than half of the remaining lowers by leaving 1 minute messages on the numbers on the FFL forms.

Why is it the FFL's responsibility to spend his time calling folks exactly? You'd think people would inquire about their own property. I know I don't just forget where the guns I own are...

They should be considered abandoned property and raffle off...
