Colt woodsman help

Hello everyone names Alex and I'm pretty new to the site, anyways I was wondering if anyone could help me identify what series colt woodsman I have or if this is even the right place to ask. I have pictures I can post as well thanks in advance.

First of all thanks for the help and second wow that's crazy I think my dad won it in a $50 dollar raffle hahaha. Ohh and how can I tell what series it is? I mean what are the things to look for?

The first series has an entirely different look than the 2nd and 3rd series. The main difference between a 2nd and 3rd series is the magazine catch. The second series has a push button catch, similar to a 1911, and the 3rd series has a lever near the bottom of the magazine well.
