    Glock 30 Sf accuracy troubles

I have been shooting for a long time, I recently purchased a (used) glock 30sf and am having accuracy problems. Placing the sights on target the same on all shots I will get a 8 inch spread at 15 yards. All my other pistols are grouping within 3 inches. Is this a recoil spring issue or is it a barrel issue?

      ^Ditto

Have someone else shoot it and see if they get the same results.

If you are normally getting 3" groups at 15 yards and you don't have a history shooting Glocks, I'd have someone else shoot it or at least shoot it off a rest

I will be at USI tomorrow and am happy to run a few rounds through it. It is user error 99% of the time. I am happy to show you how to shoot it. See signature below.

no other glocks but Im spot on with every other pistol I have shot recently (Taurus pt 99af, Blackhawk44 Mag, S&W 357 Mag, Ruger SR40c, Walther p38, Ruger SR22, S&W 500 Mag)...so Im guessing its not user error and I dont think I need a shooting lesson but thanks for the input. After further research on the glocktalk site I was pointed to a couple of items it just may be.

That would be way too obvious

Glocks are definitely a flavor of their own. Put it in a rest and find out for sure if you need that shooting lesson
"Then there are sheepdogs. The sheepdogs are the bastions of safety. The sheepdog lives solely to protect the flock and confront the wolf. They live for the opportunity to be called to duty to protect the innocent. The sheepdog has fangs and the propensity for violence but hopes that he will not have to resort to it. However, he lives for that day when he will be able to use his warrior skills and mindset to keep the wolf from harming the sheep."

There are only a couple ways the gun can be that inaccurate at that distance.

The barrel not locking up properly but it would not fire if that was the case.

The barrel has a HUGE chip in the crown or it is shot out.

                      User error.

If you don't want instruction, shoot it from a rest at 15yrds. If your group gets better, its shooter error. None of the other guns you have shot and are spot on with have anything in common with the Glock. Except that they go bang. Good luck.
