i'm in the process of receiving one as a gift but have read some negitive reviews about the mags, so i'm going to buy some aftermarket mags and wanted to ask which brand you prefer. also if u could have any non roster pistol, what would your choice be?

not to be negitive, i love the looks i just don't want to spend the money and have issues

sorry, i have read about 10 other threads that have stated the same thing, fail to feed with in the mags. i posted on here to see if what i have read is the consenses, by no means am i just going off that guy. i appreciate your your opinion though.

I carry a 226 every day. Almost everyone I work with does. No issues with factory mags.

Don't be unduly influence by videos from that reviewer. His focus is deriving income from folks watching his videos

The concern is the current magazines coming with the SIG 226 manufactured by Checkmate. The best aftermarket magazines for the SIG are from MecGar...either their previous SIG factory ones or ones marketed under their own brand
