    TURNERS HAS FINALLY DONE IT!!!!!!!

I just so happen to be in the market for a .308 on an AR platform (Sick of Saiga) and after about 2 weeks of being patient and comparing prices , I check Turners weekly ad that started today and what do I see? A Bushmaster X10 .308 for $1199.00!!.. As soon as I get off work tomorrow I'm headed down there.

Because the holiday is coming up Im not going to buy this one right away but put it on layaway, so itll be a while for pics. I HATE the classic foregrip so Im trashing that immediately for a desert Magpul grip. The ad has a pic of the rifle Im referring to...I am so stoked.. For a while I was becoming worried that I wouldnt be able to get a good deal in CA on one of these. I hate CA gun laws with a passion...its costing me EXTRAAA!

I bought the dpms lr 308 from turners and i love it. last time at the range i was hitting the 830 yard target and my wfe was hitting the 600 yard target. They just opened the turners here in ventura and so far i have bought 3 guns from them and they have been very helpful and good guys

It seems .308 is a hot item these days. I always hear someone say "308" whenever Im at the store. 308 is def a must have for a collection. 830 yards huh? Not bad. What kind of scope do you have mounted?

I was actually debating on buying the 24 in too as a long range rifle because I saw one brand new for $1000. Hell with that barrel and a scope, you cant miss. I had to be realistic though...I barely have time to go to an indoor range let alone an outdoor so that would not be practical for me. I will build the X10 to be a mid-range rifle that will at least cover me up to the 300 yard range ...

Put one on layaway today with a deposit and totally forgot about the 7.5% tax($90). CA sales tax on guns is ridiculous. Theres no way around it either. You buy used you pay no tax but u still have to pay a transfer fee and shipping if the guy isnt local..(fail) U buy from the store and if u dont catch a sale, you pay some of the highest sales tax in the country and maybe the msrp along with ANOTHER gunlock if you dont have a safe. Over $100 spent and havent even touched the price of the gun. Georgia has 4% sales tax. Yes, I do believe it is time for me to leave the golden state.
