I have multiple copies of receipts and other paperwork/record "logs" for every firearm I own. I also keep copies in a 2nd location "off-site" to ensure security.
I need to get around to taking pictures. I have lots of pictures floating around my phone/laptop, but I don't really have pictures for record keeping purposes showing serials.
I also have insurance for additional security.ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕComment

I try to keep an updated list of guns and their S/Ns and pics in a couple of secure locations away from the house---along with the list is a approx current price list for the worth of each---in case the wife needs to sell stuff after I'm gone.
In regards to pictures; you don't need "blinding" light or harsh sunlight---too much glare! Use "open shade" a plain light colored background (back of poster) and adjust the exposure of your camera to bring out the details---zoom in---this is not a landscape picture. Yes, I've been paid to take photos.Comment

yeah several were not in arms length...the Glock and Stag lower where at the computer table, the DROS for the NFA was there as well....its in jail as we speak.
I sold most of my firearms when I moved back to CA, I will re-supply when I can buy what I want, not what I am told I can have.Comment
