    Walmart ammo hoarders

I've been trying to find some . 223 at Walmart and Turners for the last two weeks. I talked to the clerk at the gun counter, he claims the only .223 he had was " on hold" all 2,000 rounds. (walmart) Seems like he's doing his own deals or agenda

I went back to the same store today and I saw that ammo laid out. I asked another clerk about the ammo. It was Federal .223 Varmit tipped. 50 grain. I said " is it true you guys hold ammo before putting it on the shelf's to the public?" He said no that shouldn't be the case. And checked to see if it was paid off for, It wasn't so I ended up taking some of that hoarders ammo

People have gone full retard again with hoarding the ammo again .

If a clerk is holding on to ammo for someone else, ask to speak to a manager and see if that's allowed. That ammo will suddenly become very available.

Wel'll the same thing happend at Big-5. I called them to ask if they had any Mosin Nagants. This morning they told me " We got a truck load of guns coming in we should have some".

I went there today and I asked the manager about them " Let me check, uh sir their all sold and reserved " . I said that's kind of odd how do you guys sell guns without the serial number or rifle present. I think the employees take a look at the guns first, and decide which ones they want for themselves.

Hoarders are idiots, and the same ones trying to unload all their crap later, they just don't realize they are screwing them selves at the same time they think they are gaining. Stupid is stupid does.

Hoarders or the preppers are. When you have thousands of rounds of ..233 or ammo laying around I get it to a degree. But if it's for SHTF if you can't defeat the threat with 210 rds ( standard combat load out) you've got a problem with your shooting. If you have anything over 2,000 rds it's hoarding I'm sorry.

Turners often times will sell you a firearm that's not the one in the display case. They check the inventory of the warehouse, if it's in stock, they'll start the DROS and your firearm will come in during the 10 days.

As far as the Wally World ammo... maybe it was a raincheck?

Times have changed. 210 rounds? The 82nd jumped with 10 to 15 30 rs mags plus frags plus as many 40 mike mikes as he could cram on his LBV plus his m16/203... Load outs back then could be over 100 lbs ...

wait, so your saying if someone has more than 2000 rounds at home they are hoarding? hahahah, yea, right. Some people shoot 500-1000 rounds in an afternoon. I buy ammo by the case because its cheaper and I know I will use it, sooner or later. I currently have 5000+ rounds of 223 and I wish I had triple that, limited by funds.

I guess all these people that are calling hoarders idiots should call on Obama to create a new position, ammo czar. Wouldn't want those preppers getting more than their "fair share!"

When the election happened in 2008, some coworkers became resourceful.

They found out that the local Wally World would drop the pallet of ammo on the floor tuesday and Thursday night the workers would the. Unpack the pallets at night and stock the shelves.

My coworkers would go in late and cut open the shrink wrap and then Load their carts up

Walmart had a 6 box maximum and this was there work around.

I am shocked that anyone waited until after the election to buy ammo

Buy what you need online and have it shipped to your office.

OP's just upset because he couldn't afford to buy by the 1000, so everyone that does is a hoarder now.

Damn I must be a hoarder then? I must not shoot my AR's at all???? Turners and Walmart around here has tons of .223. Of course you'll have to pay between 9.99-10.95 for 20 rounds sigh. I grab what I can when I can so I can keep shooting
