    400,000 + Rounds

What would you do with 400,000+ rounds of ammunition...? How about, shoot it with a .308, crush it, grind it, drop it from 65 feet and then... set it on fire...!? Well, that's just what SAAMI did in an effort to show how stable sporting ammunition actually is under all of these adverse conditions. This is a very cool (and at times, very hot) video...!!!

Not if the testimony could influence common carriers and various left-wing morons from thinking ammo is going to explode on its own for dozens of mythical reasons, so it doesn't have to be treated as a hazardous substance like it were apt to kill children on sight.

How is this a waste? This type of reporting does a couple things.

In addition to showing that current packaging of commercial ammo is safe, the primary focus of this video is a demonstration for firefighters. The same firefighters that you wouldn't want to just stand by and let your house/store burn down because they found ammo and didn't want to get near it.

The only way this could be seen as a "waste", is if you fail to understand the point.

I heard once that speaking roughly to live ammunition would cause it to go off in your direction.
