its very old. and if memory serves correctly she explained the pic on ar15.com. Its not what it looks like. I think its a upside down magazine that is coupled to the magazine inserted.

If you look at the angle of the magazine, the length, the feedlips at the bottom and the fact that something must be holding it in the magazine well, the only reasonable explanation is that it is attached to another magazine already inserted into the magwell.

Her training must be pretty old, if she was taught to chicken wing her elbow like that

you are correct...and she is using her training in the Jedi Force to suspend the magazine in mid air. If you look close there could be no more then 1/4 inch or less of the magazine inserted. Better yet...try it.

If it were a straight mag that might be a possibility. However the mag in the picture only has one curve. She just jammed it in wrong.

I can't believe that she inserted it both backwards and upside down. It must be coupled also, the entire length of the mag looks totally out of the mag well. It must be coupled.
