Roseville, CA walmart--worth it for 5.56?

I'm in the area for T-day weekend, wanted to see if its worth it to go look for 5.56/,223 @ this store.

They've got an ammo section that's usually well stocked, but the only ammo I buy there is rimfire and shotgun shells, so I don't remember what the 5.56 selection looks like.

I bought shotshells there two years ago, but that's too long. Things change.

I was actually going to start a thread asking what Sac area (out of the thumbprint requiring area) Wal-Marts carried ammo? Do most/all of them carry ammo? I'm always on the lookout for the Tulammo in both .40 and .223, and preferably the Federal .40 100-round boxes. Maybe something else if it's decently priced.

Ammo Depot is good (but Wal-Marts prices are usually better and you don't have to buy in bulk to get the savings), but SBR? I love that place, but ammo prices...eh. Was there a couple of weeks ago and a case of PMC Bronze .223 was something like $440 before taxes.

I might have to run to Elk Grove on the next trip to the city and stop by the WM there. Mine hasn't been getting any worthwhile amount of anything in the past few months. Usually a box, maybe 2, of the stuff I buy. Then I have to wait a couple of weeks for another box, lol.

Sportsmans warehouse right by SBR typically has a good, well priced selection of .223/5.56

I believe the vast majority of the Walmarts around have ammunition. The one in Orangevale and two in Roseville carry ammo. I'd also look here on the forums in the ammo section. I picked up a 1,000 rounds of .223 for $200 last weekend plus 60 rounds of Hornady .223 Tap ammo for $40.

As do the WM in Rancho (Zinfadel & Folsom), Watt & Elverta and the one in Folsom.
Don't bother with the one in North Natomas, West Sac or the WM off of Watt & El Camino.
