Glock Frame Replacement

Did any one take advantage of this? Did it cost you anything out of pocket (besides shipping)? Did you have to re-register the Glock?

Glock usually charges 150$ to reframe the gun, it comes with a new serial number. Just remember......don't believe everything you read on the internet.

Does anyone know if they reframe to another color?
Such as going from black to OD.

I called Glock and was told it costs about $70 plus another DROS and shipping one way to reframe one. I'd call them for your answer.

it depends on what glock your looking to reframe, i have a VERY early model 20 and while it was getting a once over by a certified glock armorer at the local GSSF shoot i was talking to him about doing a reframe on it to get the attachment rail and finger grooves, he advised against it very strongly.
the earlier model guns have longer slide rails built into the frame and according to him are signifigantly stronger then the newer ones.

i dont think it would matter on 17 but when your shooting 10mm +p+ i would feel better about the stronger gun
