I have a stainless steel item (barrel) I would like to have nitrided and I am wondering if there are any companies local to you that perform this service. I am sure, of course, that if a company performs this service, they do not do one-off type work. It is for this reason that I have added a poll.
Do you have an item that you would like to get nitrided? If so, would you be interested in participating in a group-buy-type scenario, where, if we found a company willing to do this, they would do all of our stuff at once.
If you answered "Yes" to the poll, please reply in the thread what items you be interested in having treated. Also reply to the thread if you know of a facility near to you that might be able to perform this service.
