If anyone is looking for safe moving or other services, such as combination changes, lock swaps, troubleshooting, openings, etc., I recently had a great experience with Jose Velasco of Velasco Lock and Key (562-716-4447, call or text), a licensed and bonded locksmith business. He's located in Norwalk and serves a large area, including the South Bay, Long Beach, etc.
I purchased a safe on sale at Costco, which included free delivery to my alleyway garage. But I wanted it moved about 75 feet around the front of my building, up 8 stairs and down a long hallway into a back bedroom.
Jose arrived promptly at the scheduled time and took great care in moving the 800-lb. beast, putting it exactly where I wanted it without damage or complications. He was very conscientious, easy to work with, and charged a fair price. All in all, highly recommended.
