Any ammo that the range allows. Heavier bullets make louder sound when u hit steel.NRA Lifer

AR500 will handle just about any round. But most ranges hang mild or plate steel. Generally, steel targets will handle a steady diet of any pistol round other than magnums.
Rifle targets are usually heavy sheet plate, and ranges don't care what you shoot at it, other than AP or trace."A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself...A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague."......CiceroComment
