Handgun purchase..permit Q

I bought a MP9 earlier this year, I'm going to buy another pistol tomorrow (PPT) . Do I have to have my handgun permit to do the PPT? If I lost my permit do they have a database to re-issue me a new one? Or can I just retake the test again?

You'll need an HSC to do the transfer. If you lost your HSC, you have 2 options. You can a) get a new one for $25. Or b) request a replacement only from the HSC instructor who issued your original card for $15. If you are unable to locate the instructor who issued your original HSC, you will need to get a new one. There is no database.
