Seems with so many 10/22's out there, might be something on Youtube.

Not that bad, take it out of the stock, push out the pins to release the trigger group. Pull back the bolt and wiggle it clear; There's a spring and guide rod. Don't lose the pins or screws. Good luck.

Many .22 run until they get dirty from powder and carbon

Based upon the lube on the bullets, the barrels really do not need much cleaning

Pull the receiver and blow it out with gun scrubber or Brake Cleaner

You can also clean out the powder with hoppes and old t shirts / patches

Easy to clean and take apart.
You tube has a ton of videos also. Fun rifles!

Good solvent like Hoppes #9 and a boresnake down the barrel. Repeat. Spray the reciever guts with WD-40 and blow out with compressed air. Repeat. Let dry out. Squirt a good quality lube in the reciever and blow it out. Repeat. Wipe everything off real good. Ready to fire. You should not have to take it down until 2000 - 3000 rounds if that.

You don't need to break it down. Just spray a bunch of gun scrubber into the magwell and ejection port and call it good.

That's what a gun store employee told me.

Make sure it's plastic safe. Also the receiver is painted, at least on the All Weather it is. My aerosol peeled the paint & turned it into a gummy mess.
