    Favorite firearm brand?

Somebody made a comment about my avatar the other day and it got me thinking. Pretty simple question, what is your favorite firearm brand, and why? Like a lot of you I own many different brands of firearms (Ruger, S&W, Savage, Browning, Remington, Glock, Springfield, RIA, Walther, Saiga, Marlin, HK, Benelli, Tikka, Kimber and I am sure I am still missing a few). It just seems I have more Rugers (followed closely by S&W) in my gun safe than any others. Why......never really thought about it. Maybe because my first handgun was a Ruger KP90, and it's still one of my favorites. Then add several 10/22s, a Mini 14, and an SR-22 rifle. Maybe its because I have more time to shoot for recreation than I have for hunting?

I like Glock. I like the feel, I like the trigger, I love the simplicity and interchangeability.

With long guns I'm partial to Winchester and Savage, not so much Remington or Ruger. I have no opinion on Marlin, Browning, or others. I like Winchester because of the model 94 and 86 lever guns, and the model 12 shotgun. Savage because of the model 99.

Handguns I really have no major dislikes. They're all interesting to some degree. Nothing like a nice trigger so I prefer something like a 1911 or a single action revolver. The two pistols I use the most at the moment say Colt and Ruger on them.

Personally I've never had a problem of any kind with any Browning. If you consider FN as part of the same group, that's a pretty oustanding choice.

Favorite handgun brand would be Glock. Favorite overall brand would be HK.
