What Guns Would You Like To See In Your Local Gun Store

I've been having a hard time finding Mossberg Mariner shotguns.

Springfield Armory and Rock Island Armory 1911's.

Rossi and Marlin lever actions, and CZ 550 Full Stock, because the quality was said to be very iffy a while back, but there is no good info on what is listed on Gun Genie or Buds as far as "are these new-new now good-again or are these new old stock of the not-so-good era".

In other words, certain guns with questionable recent pasts are something I'd really want to have someone(like gun store owner) check out and vouch for.

Who wants to send off for new lever gun and find it doesn't feed most ammo and fight with customer service back and forth about stuff that shouldn't have left the factory???

I'm wanting a Rossi Winchester clone, but I'd need to have a FFL/gunsmith who would be willing and able to check it out for me before I take it home, due to past reviews.

IMO, guns shouldn't leave factory until they feed and fire about 5 diff most common types/brands of ammo.

Problem here in San Diego (city) We really only have Turners & Discount. Turners won`t get a Crumb from anyone I know, Discount doesn`t (normally) stock a whole lot.

I seem to like the odd items, so .357sig, 10mm, .41mag,
38super. All the PC S&W'S, high ends 1911's. Non-black black guns. All the "c" and "sf" glocks. All the fancy special edition Sigs.

What I would like to see is more EBR's like a Scar, ACR, F2000 etc and the new Aug A3. They never sit on the shelf collecting dust so I don't see why more aren't ordered. But their is tons or AR's which I love but it seems it's the only rifle in plentiful supply.

And the one rifle no one can get for me a HK MR556 I'll have better luck finding a unicorn than being able to find one at a gun shop I've tried all over CA.

Also try to have a little of everthing from the various brands. I know you can't stock every model but when you have every Glock but not one HK or Sig, people like options and to see the different makes out their in person.

The thing that really needs to change is a customer comes in asks for something you don't have, maybe see if you can get their name and phone number and get back to them. Rather than blow them off like they aren't going to buy anything. In my line of work I will do whatever I can to help my customers and always give them a call back on the situation. Hell if it's out of my abilities or control I'll send them to a competitor or point them into the right direction so that they get their problem fixed. How many places will do that?

Anything with a suppressor. Make it happen. We are the almighty gun lobby right ? Lets actually get something done. I want an M&P 45 full size with night sights and a suppressor as my bedside gun.

CZ's, OD Glocks, Scorpions, XDM's and just about anything else off the stupid roster.
Oh, and M1A2 main battle tanks....come in handy for the incessant lane shifters cutting everyone off and gaining nothing when commuting on friggin Hwy1. And would be really handy for the Santa Cruz hippies who keep fighting widening the highway, except through their city of course, that's ok, bloody North County smug hippie/nazi hypocrites.

As far as handguns go, I'm pretty much done with what is on the roster. Considering how mainstream the single shot exemption is now, most everything on my list is not on the roster.

As far as rifles, I wonder why gunshops don't carry featureless ones more often. The standard BB equipped ones are pretty much everywhere, but some gunshops don't seem to even know featureless exists.

AK's...
Every shop has a truck full of AR's, why not carry some AK's from various manufactures (WASR, Arsenal, etc). I have no doubt they would sell.

C&R eligible firearms...
Sure you can find the occasional Mosin, but where is everything else? Why is it all online or in Arizona? You would think with California gun laws being what they are with "evil features", C&R's would be easy money... Heck, even Mosin's are getting hard to find in this part of the country. I rarely see 1, let alone more than 1, and I've never seen an actual crate empty or full.

OMG dude, I thought I was the only one who thought that. There are sooo many rifles out there on the market and CA is limited to the AR platform and your basic BORING AKs... I bought an AR pistol just to make it interesting. Sadly, as long as CA has to use the bullet button, we will always miss out on the really cool INEXPENSIVE stuff.
