    open carry @ the gunshop?

I'm not going to name the store, maybe others have noticed it too. So i went to buy some ammo today and i noticed that all the employees were packin', i always thought that it was illegal to carry in CA at a gunstore. Maybe you can only carry if it's visible?

Anyone can carry at their place of work or at their own home.

      You just noticed this?

I have rarely seen a gun store employee NOT packing. It is irresponsible and unsafe not to when you take into account the fact that there are a buttload of guns in there, and criminals dont get their guns by DROSing them but rather by stealing them.

not to mention the recent gunstore robberies in So Cal and the one in Lodi where the owner took a head shot.

I am always carrying my .45 with two extra mags when I am in the shop

Never been in a gun shop where the employees were not carrying.

Don't think for one minute that all regular (not chain stores) gun shops don't have a gun or two within reach at all times. Just because you don't see it doesn't mean it isn't there.

I tend to only go to the shops where the employees DO carry.

At the gun store I go to, one of the guns I bought was his carry at work gun, only used for pratice and it was in great shape. It was 10 years old and didn't look it.

Thieves are the lowest form of life out there, except for liberal politicians, of course, but that's redundant.
