If you really want to pay all those extra shipping and fees, yes you can have an out of state CA friendly FFL order your gun and then transfer to a willing CA FFL. Granted the item is legal prior to entering CA. Seems a bit redundant, unless it's a rare or hard to get item.

Plenty of FFLs that will sell you a Cali legal AK. As for the FFL who wont sell to Cali ah well. its their fault for missing out on the cash cow that even today is California.

Plenty of AK friendly AK FFL's out there that sell to Cali.

What makes the particular AK that you want so special that you are willing to go through all this hassle and added expense.

I am thinking that if you tell me I will discover that I too will want that AK for my collection!
