It was a one of a kind and the deros was $75. I am looking for other long gun to put in place so I am not out all the deros. Never had a gun disappear or not be what I expected. Going to gun show sunday to see whats out there. I need a kids 22 anyway like a cricket.

OP, Google "over-labeling theft by UPS". Look for it mentioned in gun forums. I had a UPS driver try to pocket over $1000 from a COD package I sent. The person I sent it to paid with cash not a money order. It took over a week of daily calls to UPS & threats of LE involvement to get my money. The driver was not fired or even disciplined. UPS is union.

Not so far called today and Oaktree said shipping receiving guy in tomorrow and will check stock and logs. After 8 days ups will pay. Issue check within 2 days and deliver within 7 . or so they say. On tue it will be listed as stolen . I hope it shows up somewhere.

I know a guy who had a handgun not show up for weeks and weeks in this situation and UPS ended up purchasing him a new handgun (some model of ruger .22), and thena few weeks later after he got his new one that UPS paid for, the original shows up.

Latest is ups investigated and opened claim. Waiting for final disposition and check. Have spent several hours and some travel to visit Oaktree and UPS in Sylmar . Then 2 trips to lapd to file theft report and pickup dr # . Gave them pics of gun and serial number.

UPS supposed to pay next week . Won't replace only pay for price of shotgun.

Glad you're finally getting this resolved, what a freaking nightmare. Was someone at UPS responsible?

$75 for deros? That's a tad bit expensive. I'm hoping that includes a transfer fee.

It was a shipped in firearm from gunbroker.com sale. Fees for that at Oaktree is $75 including deros fee. They are cheapest in area except for some guy in Thousand Oaks.
