I believe that would be considered a "live" auction. So my opinion is no. A mod may chirp in here and correct me.

Place an ad for your rifle on the marketplace and mention it is for sale elsewhere, as well. That way if it sells on CGN great or if it sells elsewhere you are covered . I have always supported the first "query" (Pm or I'll Take it) by time stamp as first responder.

Edit: maybe I didnt read that op right. You can mention your listing but no direct links.

^^^^This.... and as said above, mention that this is not the only place where you are listing the item.

In fairness to all buyers, make sure to update both, Calguns and your alternate listing (if it is online) when you have a potential deal lining up.

I have done this before with good results and no one got mad.Gunbroker has rules that require if the minimum bid is met the sale is to that person.Calgun,I will make it known it is on Gunbroker and to contact me(provide a phone number)before putting I will take it.If the Calgunner wants it,I log onto Gunbroker and stop the auction if no bids are present.Then have the Calgunner state he will take it on the forum.I went back to using Gunbroker after having a few deals I made fall through and the folks never would contact me again.Hope this helped.
