    Off list purchase

Looking at a off list handgun to purchase. It would be shipped to a gunshop, the seller is not Leo nor am I. Due to logistics then gun will be shipped to local gunshop. Is this still considered a ppt if we are not face to face for transfer? How would I be able to make this happen?

Off list handguns can only be purchased through private party transfer, which must be face to face. You can got through the SSE (single shot exemption) to acquire off list handguns. Look for an SSE FFL who can do it, I'll post a link with all the SSE info.

no it is not a PPT. the seller must be a CA-resident hand-deliver the handgun to the local gunshop for it to be considered a PPT.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?
