    Bay Area Glass Bedding?

    Hey all,

Can anyone recommend a gunsmith in the Bay Area that does great rifle stock bedding work? I called Spartan, but he told me that he can only take on full builds at the moment.

Somebody trustworthy on the peninsula would be optimal.

    Thanks!

I would love to have Spartan work on my rifle, but Marc told me that he can't take bedding jobs at the moment, only complete builds.

Last I talked to Marc at Spartan, he was swamped; so I can see where a smaller job thrown in the mix would be tough.

Try "Maraviov Gunsmithing" in Woodland 530-668-4867
The number came from a Bing search. I was handed a different number for him years ago, but don't know where it is. I haven't seen or heard of his work, but at least he's listed.

I've never used him for real smithing, but as he was finishing work on my archery setup I overheard him talking with another customer asking about fixing an antique shotgun stock. He mentioned bedding it as part of the repair.
