I dros'd a long gun tonight at big 5, It was effortless. The saleswoman was super nice, joked and smiled a lot , without being all "sale-y" . Safety checked everything I asked to look at , just an overall great buying experience. If I would have bought more cash, I probably would have picked up another.
Tomorow makes 9.

I bought one of the Pardner Pump Shotguns. For the price I couldn't pass up a decent bargain. I liked the feel of it and after reading lots of good reviews, and reading some of the parts for 870s will work, I was sold. Can't wait to get it!

Looking for a buffer tube in good shape, and one of these stock adapters already.

Now, don't get the wrong idea, but I'd be just as happy with a salesman that was super nice, smiled, joked and knew what he was doing.

For most women but not all I'm sorry to say it I wouldn't want a woman to be the sales person helping me at my local gun shop.

Maybe in other states but all the ones I dealt with are scatter brained air heads, I remember the last one she was hot and I think her boyfriend who also worked their helped get her a part time job their. But she didn't know anything about guns, hell she didn't even clear them before showing me or other customers and every place I've been to they do a clear check first.

She didn't know what any gun was and she worked their, had to point to each one I wanted to see. Ask to see a ACR she says I don't see it, I then point to it her reply but it says Bushmaster on the tag and yeah below that part it says ACR. Thank god I knew everything about the gun because if I had a real technical question I'd be better pressed to ask a fellow customer in the shop at the time.

I'm sorry to say it she should have done anything but work the counter, at least I don't see her anymore maybe she found her real calling somewhere else and is able to do her job.

There is a really good looking woman at my local big 5 that knows her stuff. It is always an enjoyable experience. Although I noticed she stopped being so dang nice when I went in with my wife one day.... Wonder if she was flirting.... I'm still in my 20's but I have been out of commision (married/togeather) for so long I wouldn't know.
