How can I control the snap when I fire my Glock 22? Trigger work, replace guide rod assembly etc. Thanks.

Glock 22 control snap

By snap, do you mean recoil/muzzle raise?
Grip harder.
What is the purpose of your gun/ammo/range time?
If SD/HD buy low recoil reloads and just practice with low recoil and full power.
If for fun, a tungsten guide rod helps.Comment

Stronger hands, stronger arms, proper grip. Its physics, not magic.Comment

It is physics, but it is based more on proper technique...hand/arm geometry and force vectors...than on strength.

Get a 22C...
Or, but a ported Lone Wolf barrel...Comment

Just focus on your trigger control, sear reset, and sight picture. Don't think about the recoil because that's how you develop a flinch. Proper grip is important to control the recoil for follow up shots, but there is such a thing as gripping too hard. If your hands get fatigued or begin to shake it means your gripping it too hard. Your dominate hand should be fairly relaxed and the only thing that needs to move is your trigger finger. Your weak hand is what you use to lock the gun into place.
What your looking for is to let the recoil occur, but to manage it so that your sights naturally fall into the same place after each round. Eventually you'll find a natural rythym that is consistent. Once you get used to that you could shoot pretty much any handgun accurately from a .22lr to a .500 magnum.
Classes definitely help and of course putting thousands of rounds down range.Comment
