Chrono buying advice

Ok, I am ready to get my own chrono so I can check velocities on my own time.
I have 200 bucks to spend.

All I need is velocities accuratly. The rest of the bells and whistles are not so important.

What do I buy. Why.

I have a Chrony Master. Easy to set up and take down, has a screw hole in the bottom for mounting to a tripod, has a long enough cord that comes back to the table top display, and allows display in both fps and mps.

I like it. Takes a 9 volt battery. It can remember more strings than I can shoot. I think. I've not maxed it out, I guess.

Now, if the direct sun shines right on the display, you sort of have to shade it with your hand to view, but that's the only problem.

From other guys I've heard that the Master is not bullet proof. No personal experience there, though.

I've got the same one as CDFingers, the shooting Chrony Alpha master. I've had mine about a year and it works great. I use it for pistol and rifle, mainly just to check velocity of my reloads, haven't really gotten into all the technical side of it with the deviation and such. Works fine, I do like having the remote display and I use a cheap camera tripod on it.
