Ok this took me all of 5 seconds to do an Internet search. Reciently the Brady Bunch published a ranking of the "Best Gun Control States" Guess what California rankes number 1 by the Brady bunch for gun control. Yeah California.

Then i used my Google-fu and decided to see what the state rankings for crimes was and i got the most current data from the US Census board which was 2005. And guess what California is number one again in crime "YEAH CALIFORNIA"

So i also checked and the Brady bunch gave EVIL and NASTY North Dakota, Utah, Oklahoma, and Kentucky last place scores, "BOO evil mid west states". Well guess what according to the crime stats ND ranks 49th, Utah 35th, Oklahoma 29th, and Kentucky 26th.

Now the best 5 states according to Brady Bunch was
California #1 also #1 in crime
New Jersey #2 also #10 in crime
Connecticut #3 also #30 in crime
Mass tied for 3rd and 13th in crime
Maryland is #4 and 19th in crime
And New York at #5 and 3rd in crime.

So this quick google search proves that gun control works and that the brady bunch is right

Good start. You need to use your google-fu to track, starting with the inception of the first brady laws, the crime increases in areas/states where gun control is the strictest. This will help sell a direct relationship re: anti-gun laws and unsafe states. Otherwise, the data above could easily be dismissed based on the assumption that crime has always been high in those states, thus the need for brady laws. What you want to do is show that crime has risen in direct relation to the brady legislation.

Were also #1 in affordable housing, clean air, low taxes, easy commutes, good public schools, the best well maintained roads in america. Hell, we are better than ANYONE!

someone on glock talk compared every state's grades with the violent crime rate per capita, and they said the results were very surprising (from an anti's point of view) but the link is dead so i have no idea.

probably the worse grade a state got, the lower the crime.

There is another "elephant in the room" in those statistics that is not very ""politically correct" to mention.
