I'm looking to get some mossberg ghostrings mounted on my Winchester 1300 Defender. I posted on here a few weeks ago and people recomended Evans & Bian and Davis. The wait at Evens is to long, and I haven;t heard back from Bian & Davis.

Dansforth is a ripoff... period. He charged my father $20 bucks for a pin for his 1911, which we later found out was a $2 part. Me and my freind went in there a few months ago to see what it would cost to have his Remington 597 .22LR barrel threaded to accept a FAL flash hider (for looks). First he gave us this BS that threading a .22's barrel would make it an AW and we would go to jail. After educating him on the current law (.22's are exempt) with the help of his DOJ AW identification guide, he agreed it would be legal, and he would be willing to do the work. The next BS he gave us, was that he would have to keep the gun for 90 days before he could work on it, and then another 60 days to do the work!! He also said it would cost $450 bucks to do the work...... we promptly left. Later that night we contacted accuracysystems.com and they said they could take the rifle, thread the barrel (1/2X28), include flash hider, and have the gun back to us within 2 weeks of when we ship it. All for $120 bucks. Long story short, find another smith. (Bolsa gunsmithing is good)
