Any one have first hand experience with getting a gun hydro dipped in the bay area? Anywhere from Gilroy to Concord area?

How long does it take before its ready to be handled/shot?

How does the finish hold up to wear?

Once it has dried and properly cured you can assemble and shoot the snot out of it. The finish holds very well. More durable than I expected.

BTW: I recommend to get it done by Go Cloaked in San Carlos.

Do you have to leave the parts with whoever does it or is it sit and wait in the waiting room for 30 minutes or so?

Looks good. Was looking into the same finish.

How long was the turn around? Cost?

Was it all done at once, as in same piece of film? The stock looks like a different shade than the rest. Could be pic angle.

Turn around was about a week. Cost depends by somewhere from $200+ and yes it was just the angle. I'll take better pics soon.

Just an FYI: First I thought about doing it myself with some available kits online but I have to warn you it is much more complex to get it to dip correctly than one can think. So get it professional done.
